The Children and Youth Home

OBJECTIVES

• Serve as a resource centre for children and youth;
• Provide information and guidance to youth;
• Provide learning documents to youth in rural areas;
• Provide psychological and material support to destitute children and youth;
• Assist adolescents in achieving better guidance and plan their future;
• Contribute to the social integration of ill-adapted youth;
• Address issues relating to juvenile delinquency;
• Mobilize resources with a view to providing various assistance to children and youth in difficulty;
• Build the capacities of parents, children and youth on issues relating to health and other priority areas;
• Familiarize children and youth on new information and communication technologies;
• Facilitate the social integration of youth wishing to undertake income-generating activities.
